Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease of the chronic inflammatory central nervous system (CNS). MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small non-coding RNAs that are usually 19-24 nucleotides long, some of which have different expression profiles in normal and patient tissues. There has been a significant focus on understanding the role of miRNAs in MS disease. We assessed transcript levels of miR-10a in RRMS patients, during recurring patients and two months after relapse patients. In this case-control study, miR-10a expression in 60 patients with RRMS, of which 30 were recurring patients and 30 were two months after relapse patients and 30 healthy subjects who referred to MS Clinic of Kashani Hospital, Isfahan Province, were examined in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) using real-time PCR reaction. In silico analyses was also performed on validated targets of miR-10a by miRTarBase. MiR-10a in recurring patients and two months after relapse patients had an increase in expression.کد مقاله / لینک ثابت به این مقاله
