There are different types of testing to evaluate the level of language proficiency of EFL learners. Teachers in schools should provide a suitable kind of evaluation for their learners, and students might have different attitudes toward these assessments. Nowadays, different kinds of student-evaluation are being done throughout our country. Also, the most critical type of testing is a modern technological assessment. The present research is a comparative study of attitudes of EFL learners toward traditional and modern assessment. 60 EFL learners of the junior high school participated in this study. The purpose of this study was to survey students opinions about technology and utilize technology in the final or classroom exam. In this paper, technology refers to computer-based exams in which students should use keyboards and microphones to answer the questions. They answered a questionnaire, including a Likert scale, which ranges from strongly disagree to strongly agree about the modern and traditional evaluation and their impact on students language learning. Unfortunately, the learners attitudes were not so positive about computer-based assessment which is due to a large number of reasons, including lack of correlated exam-like exercises during their learning semester, the unfamiliarity of students with these types of learning and evaluations from elementary schools, and their low-level computer skills.
