چکیده

Natural products are chemical compounds or substances that are found in nature. The demand for natural products has increased and corresponding to this demand the below mentioned challenges have increased as well. - Production A- Indiscriminate harvesting of nature especially endangered plants B- The problem of industrial cultivation of medicinal plants C- Lack of suitable pharmaceutical formulations D-Insufficiency of the necessary information in the field of production and processing E- Problems for industrial production. F- Lack of reliable market for cultivation production and sales. G- Importing H- Challenges related to packaging and supplying the appropriate form to the market. I- Absence of explainable and defendable regulations J- Mixing pollutants with natural products -Distribution A- Distribution of unlicensed products in the market B- Involvement of non-pharmaceutical specialists C- Incompatibility of the ingredients listed on the containers with the ingredients inside the product D- Absence of proper mechanism for exporting natural medicines and medicinal products derived from them E- Raw sale and export of drugs in raw form M- The similarity of plants with each other and selling them instead of each other such as parsley hemlock and common chives - Prescription and consumption Failure to prescribe and use these drugs rationally for the following reasons A- Unfamiliarity of prescribers with the properties and side effects of these substances and their superficial information from medical sciences B- The entry of unskilled into this field. C- Abusing the public s ignorance to fill the pockets. D- Prescribing such drugs by agents who do not have a license to operate. E- Carrying out therapeutic interventions and invasive therapeutic measures by unskilled and lack of attention from the authorities. G- Absence of herbal products covered by insurances solutions 1- Supervision of the country s pharmaceutical authorities. 2- Preventing the therapeutic interventions of unlicensed people. 3- Officials should pay more attention to creation of a safe and effective market. 4- preparing defensible regulations regarding the production distribution and prescription of natural products 5- Encouraging experts to conduct effective research on natural products. 6- Preventing the indiscriminate harvesting of endangered plants 7- Training and encouraging farmers to cultivate medicinal plants. 8- Preparing the appropriate mechanism for the export of natural products in customs 10- Helping to conduct in-depth research on natural products
