چکیده
Statement of Problem The genus Salvia L. belonging to the family Lamiaceae is one of the most important medicinal genera. This genus is well known for the treatment of different diseases and rich source of secondary metabolites. Regarding to the approved documents a high chemical diversity of flavonoid-based compounds has been reported in some Salvia species. Research Purpose There has been no report about chemical assessment at infra specific levels of Salvia syriaca L. using LC-MS MS method. Therefore the current research was conducted to develop a metabolomic approach assess different compounds and their diversity in different chemotypes. Research Method Several accessions were collected from different natural habitats in the center and south-west of Zagros regions Iran. The dried aerial parts of each sample (50gr) were subjected to ultrasonic homogenizer with 98% methanol. MS MS analysis was performed using QTRAP mass spectrometer conducted in negative ionization mode. A comprehensive platform for metabolomics data was applied using library matching and GNPS-Molecular Network. Results and Conclusion The analysis revealed 92 metabolites with remarkable diversity. Molecular networks depicted specific compounds in each chemotype. The presented metabolomes mostly included fatty acids terpenoids flavonoids phenolic acids coumarins and alkaloids. Consequently the datasets are valuable for pharmaceutical purposes.کليدواژه ها
